Abstract

The invention relates to a nozzle plate of an underwater pelletizer, said nozzle plate being separably attached to a rear wall provided with one or more melt channels, the melt channels leading into feeders in the nozzle plate to the nozzles. The rear wall is penetrated by pipes for a temperature-control medium, said pipes being in communication with an inlet and an outlet in the nozzle plate for the passage of the temperature-control medium through the nozzle plate and being routed outside the rear wall via shut-off valves.
