Abstract
The present invention provides a method of fastening a heat pipe and heat dissipating fins and a device using the same, comprising: providing a multi-punch device having a plurality of punches arranged with intervals that exerts fastening action only to predetermined positions respectively so as to fasten the heat pipe and the heat dissipating fins in conjunction to the pressing process; forming a fin set having a plurality of heat dissipating fins fastened by fastening members with a specific interval; penetrating the heat pipe to each hat dissipating fin; carrying out a bonding process under the control of a specific pressing technique and pressing force selection with the aforementioned device and a plurality of punches so as to exert pressing force to each heat dissipating fin and the heat pipe at the predetermined bonding positions, combining the heat dissipating fins and the heat pipe with deformation at the predetermined bonding position; and completing the combination of the heat dissipating fins and the heat pipe to produce the heat dissipating device.
