Abstract
The invention provides a compact and inexpensive apparatus for treating and recovering a gaseous hydrocarbon that can prevent poisoning of an adsorbent caused by moisture contained in gasoline vapor, and a method for treating and recovering a gaseous hydrocarbon. The apparatus for treating and recovering a gaseous hydrocarbon to be used for the treatment of leaking gasoline vapor upon filling a tank with gasoline is constituted of a first condenser 9 for removing moisture and gasoline vapor, a second condenser 10 for removing gasoline vapor disposed on a gas flow path downstream of the first condenser 9, and a gasoline vapor adsorption/desorption device 11 disposed on the gas flow path downstream of the second condenser 10.
