Abstract
Global warming is proceeding. The use of fossil fuels must be reduced all over the world. Important subjects under such current situation are to diminish useless heat dissipation especially in fields where a large quantity of energy is utilized and to diminish the use of fuels for ceramic formation. A technique in which the heat emitted from apparatuses or parts or a fire or impact heat is utilized for conversion into a ceramic, without using any fossil fuel for the ceramic formation, to thereby attain a refractory heat-insulating effect was established. It is useful in the fields where a large quantity of energy is utilized.
