Abstract

The present invention provides a solution of initiating one-to-many communication process by a network in a communication system. Firstly, a server sends a control signaling to the determined next-hop core network equipment. After receiving the control signaling, the core network equipment generates a paging message according to the control signaling, and determines a target access network equipment to send the paging message according to the content of the paging message. After receiving the paging message from the core network equipment, the access network equipment interprets the paging message into an air interface paging message and sends the air interface paging message. After receiving the paging message, the terminal equipment detects whether the identification information included in the paging message matches the terminal equipment. If so, the terminal equipment sends the reported data or performs call establishment with the network, according to paging reason indication information in the paging message. By applying the present invention, the network side only needs to initiate one paging process; furthermore, the on-demand reply message is triggered by the signaling but not available application data method in the present invention, and the present invention does not depend upon the detailed implement of the terminal equipment, therefore, the effect of on-demand reply can be achieved.

Description

-9 - Description of the Invention: [Technical Field] The present invention relates to a communication system, and more particularly to a machine type communication (MTC) based communication system. [Prior Art] According to the specification of the existing mobile communication system, a normal person-to-person (H2H) communication process is initiated by the user terminal, for example, the calling user initiates call setup to one or more called users, and the call user is directed to one. Or multiple called users send Short Message Service 'SMS' or Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). In addition, the mobile terminal device can actively report information to the network side according to a special application customized by the terminal owner, such as GPS positioning information. Applications where terminals report specific data to the network side are also common in machine-based communications (MTC), such as automatic meter reading, car automatic billing, and more. The MTC specification supports a machine type communication terminal device (MTC device) to transmit data to a machine type communication server (MTC server) in the form of SMS or MMS. The actively reported information mentioned above usually sends the required report data to the network side in the form of SMS or MMS in a periodic manner. However, today, users are pursuing personalized services. Operators and equipment manufacturers, as well as various third parties such as service content providers, work together to develop convenient platforms and rich services to meet the various needs of users. In such a large environment, one or more mobile terminals have attracted attention because of the application established by the network side request -5-201225599 and the network side communication process. Specifically, unlike the prior art, the communication process includes call setup or by requiring one or more terminals to transmit the required report data to the network side device, for example, an application server, in the form of SMS or Μ M S. This new application requirement is commonly referred to in the present invention as a one-to-many communication process initiated by the network. "One" refers to the network device that triggers the communication process, and "multi" refers to one or more terminal devices that are triggered by the communication process. In an existing feasible solution, in order to trigger one or more terminal devices and the network to perform call setup, for example, a multiparty call is made. The application server first sends a control signal to the core network, after which the core network will initiate a paging process for one or more terminal devices. If the above terminal device is a group of devices, then the application server needs to initiate multiple paging processes for all terminal devices, which greatly wastes the resources of the system. In another possible solution, in order to trigger one or more terminal devices, for example, the MTC device sends a data to an application server based on a network side request, for example, an MTC server, and the application server first sends an SMS message at the SMS. The message includes information indicating that the receiving terminal device returns an SMS message or an MMS message. After receiving the SMS message and successfully decoding the terminal device, the terminal device can send the required report data to the application server in the form of SMS or MMS. Specifically, the application server first sends an SMS message to the core network, and after receiving the SMS message, the core network informs the terminal device that the SMS message needs to be received by paging. After receiving the paging, the terminal device requests to establish a connection with the core network. After the connection is successfully established, the terminal device requests the -6-201225599 core network to receive the SMS message. After receiving the SMS message and decoding it, the terminal device knows that it needs to report the data in the form of SMS or MMS. Then, the terminal device sends the required report data to the application server in the form of SMS or MMS. In the above solution, if the application server needs to trigger a group of terminal devices to separately send data to the application server, the application server needs to send multiple SMS messages separately in addition to the multiple paging processes. It also greatly wastes the resources of the system. In addition, the above solution is an application layer-based solution, and all the steps take more time to complete, especially after the terminal device receives the SMS from the network side, its behavior is based on the specific implementation of each vendor, and there is no communication. Under the condition of specification constraints, it is difficult to ensure that all terminal devices can instantly request on-demand network side requests in the form of SMS or MMS. The content included in the specific 'control signal may be any one of the following three situations: (1) a device identifier including one or more terminal devices in the control signal and a call type indication information; (2) control The signal includes a group identifier of a group of terminal devices and logical area information of the group of terminal devices, and call type indication information; (3) the control signal includes a group identifier of a group of terminal devices and one or more of the group of terminal devices The device identifier of the terminal device, and the call type indication information. For the first case described above, the call type indication information is used to indicate that one or more terminal devices report data such as meter reading, or call setup with the network. For the second case described above, the call type indication information is used to instruct a group of terminal devices to report data such as the number of meter readings, or to establish a call with the network. In addition, the logical area information of the group of terminal devices included in the control signal is generated by the server 1 according to the geographic area information of the group of terminal devices. For the LTE/SAE system, the logical area information may be, for example, -14- 201225599 Tracking area (ΤΑ) identification or community identification, and for circuit-switched WCDMA systems, the logical area information may be, for example, a location area (LA) identity or a community identity, and for a WCDMA system based on packet switching, the logical area The information can be, for example, a routing area (RA) identity or a community identity. For the third scenario described above, the call type indication information is used to indicate that one or more terminal devices in a group of terminal devices report data such as meter reading, or make call setup with the network. In one embodiment, the above step S11 can be implemented by the method flow shown in Fig. 2. As shown in Fig. 2, first in step S111, the server 1 transmits a route information request message to the home location register (HLR) / home user server (HSS). The routing information request message is used to request routing information of the lower-level core network device 20 that receives the control signal sent by the server 10. The content included in the routing information request message may be any one of the following three conditions: (1) The routing information request message includes the device identifier of one or more terminal devices. (2) The routing information request message includes logical area information of a group of terminal devices. (3) The routing information request message includes a device identifier of one or more terminal devices in the group terminal device. Then, in step S112, the home location register/home user server receives the routing information request message from the server 1 。. -15- 201225599 When the routing information request message is the first and third situations described above, in step S113, the home location register/home user server determines one or one according to the device identifier of the one or more terminal devices. The plurality of lower-level core network devices 20 send a routing information response message to the identifier of the one or more lower-level core network devices 20 to the server 1 . When the routing information request message is in the second scenario, in step S113, the home location register/home user server queries one or more corresponding to the logical area information according to the logical area information in the routing information request message. The next-level core network device 20 transmits a routing information response message to the identifier of the one or more lower-level core network devices 20 to the server 10. Specifically, the home location register/local user server stores a correspondence table of logical area information managed by the core network device and the core network device, and the correspondence table is indexed by the core network device identifier. The home location register/local user server queries the one or more lower-level core network devices 20 corresponding to the logical area information from the correspondence table according to the logical area information in the routing information request message. Finally, in step S114, the server 10 receives a routing information response message from the home location register/home user server. Returning to FIG. 1, when the control signal is used to request an application scenario in which one or more terminal devices or a group of terminal devices or one or more of the terminal devices report data, the server 1 transmits a control signal. Thereafter, optionally, the server 1 determines whether a one or more terminal devices from the one or more terminal devices or a group of terminal devices or a group of final-16-201225599 devices are received within a predetermined time period. Instant reply message, the instant reply message includes the information reported by the terminal device. If the server 10 does not receive an instant reply message from the one or more terminal devices or a group of terminal devices or one or more of the terminal devices within a predetermined time period, the server 10 resends the control signal. . For example, server 1 启动 can start a timer for timing, after the period expires, 'if one or more terminal devices from the one or more terminal devices or a group of terminal devices or a group of terminal devices have not been received yet The instant reply message 'The server 1 〇 resends the control signal. Next, in step S13, after receiving the control signal from the servo 10, the core network device 20 generates a paging message based on the control signal. The paging message includes a device identifier of one or more terminal devices or a group identifier of a group of terminal devices and logical area information of the group of terminal devices or a group identifier of a group of terminal devices and one or more of the group of terminal devices. The device identifier of the terminal device and the paging cause indication information. The paging reason indication information is used to indicate that the one or more terminal devices or the group/terminal devices in the group of terminal devices report data or establish a call with the network. It should be noted that the paging reason indication information included in the paging message is consistent with the content of the call type indication information included in the control signal. Then, in step S14, the core network device 20 is based on the device identifier of one/multiple terminal devices or the logical region information of a group of terminal devices or one or more terminal devices of a group of terminal devices of -17-201225599 The device identification determines one or more target access network devices 30 and sends a paging message to the one or more target access network devices 30. In an LTE/SAE system, the core network device 20 includes a Mobile Switching Center (MSC) and a Mobility Management Entity (MME) for terminal devices that are simultaneously attached to the circuit switched and packet switched domain. In the LTE/SAE system, the core network device 20 includes a mobility management entity (MME) for a terminal device to which paging is attached only to a packet switched domain. In the GSM system, the core network device 20 includes a Mobile Switching Center (MSC). In a circuit switched based WCDMA system, core network device 20 includes a Mobile Switching Center (MSC) and a GPRS Service Support Node (SGSN). In a WCDMA system based on packet switching, the core network device 20 includes a GPRS Service Support Node (SGSN). Taking the LTE/SAE terminal device that is simultaneously attached to the circuit switched and packet switched domain as an example, the above step S13 is performed by the mobile switching center (MSC) 21 in the core network device 2, and the above step S14 is performed by the core network device 20. The mobility management entity 22 completes. After the specific mobile switching center 2 1 receives the control signal from the server 10, a paging message is generated based on the control signal and the paging message is transmitted to the mobility management entity 22. The mobility management entity 22 receives the paging message from the mobile switching center 21, and then 'based on the device identification of one or more terminal devices included in the paging message or the logical area information of a group of terminal devices or a group of terminal devices The device identifier of one or more terminal devices determines one or -18-201225599 multiple target access network devices 30 and transmits paging messages to the one or more target access network devices 30. For the device identifier including the one or more terminal devices in the paging message, the mobility management entity 22 determines the logic corresponding to the one or more terminal devices according to the device identifier of the one or more terminal devices. The area information 'determines an access network device including at least one community located in the logical area as one or more target access network devices 30 and transmits a paging message to the one or more target access network devices 30. For the case where the paging message includes a group identifier of a group of terminal devices and logical area information of the group of terminal devices, the mobility management entity 22 includes at least one community located in the logical region according to the logical region information of the group of terminal devices. The access network device determines one or more target access network devices 30 and transmits a paging message to the one or more target access network devices 30. For the group identifier of the paging message including a group of terminal devices and the device identifier of one or more terminal devices in the group of terminal devices, the mobility management entity 22 determines the device identifier of the one or more terminal devices in the group of terminal devices. Determining logical area information corresponding to the one or more terminal devices, and determining an access network device including at least one community located in the logical area as one or more target access network devices 30 and transmitting a paging message to the One or more target access network devices 30. Then, in step S15, after receiving the paging message from the core network device 20, the access network device 30 converts the paging message into a paging message of the null intermediary and transmits it through the null intermediate plane. -19- 201225599 In the LTE/SAE system, the access network device 30 includes an enhanced base station (eNodeB). In a WCDMA system, the access network device 30 includes a radio network controller (RNC) and a base station (NodeB). In the GSM system, the access network device 30 includes a base station controller (BSC) and a base station ( BTS). It should be noted that in the WCDMA system, after receiving the paging message from the core network device 20, the wireless network controller converts the paging message into a paging message of the empty intermediate plane, and sends it to one or more of its control. Base station. After receiving the paging message of the empty intermediation plane, the one or more base stations respectively send the paging message through the empty intermediation plane. In the G S Μ system, after the base station controller receives the paging message from the core network device 2, the paging message is converted into a paging message of the empty intermediate plane and sent to one or more base stations under its control. After receiving the paging message of the empty intermediate plane, the one or more base stations respectively send the paging message through the empty intermediate plane. Finally, in step S16, after receiving the paging message from the access network device 30, the terminal device 40 detects the device identifier of the one/multiple terminal devices included in the paging message or the group identifier of a group of terminal devices or Whether the group identifier of a group of terminal devices and the identifier of the device identifier of one or more terminal devices in the group of terminal devices match the own terminal device 40. If yes, the information is generated according to the paging reason in the paging message, and the reported data generated instant reply message is sent to the target server 1 or the call is established with the network. Specifically, after receiving the message from the access network device, the terminal device 40 detects the device identifier of the one or more terminal devices included in the paging message at the access stratum (AS) or Whether the group identifier of a group of terminal devices or the group identifier of a group of terminal devices and the device identifier of one or more terminal devices in the group of terminal devices match the terminal device 40. If yes, the device identifier of the one or more terminal devices in the paging message or the group identifier of a group of terminal devices or the group identifier of a group of terminal devices and the device identifier of one or more terminal devices in the group of terminal devices And the paging cause indication information is sent to the non-access stratum (NAS). After receiving the information from the access layer, the non-access layer of the terminal device 40 detects the device identifier of the received one or more terminal devices or the group identifier of a group of terminal devices or the group identifier of the group of terminal devices and the group Whether the device identifier of one or more terminal devices in the terminal device is consistent with the information stored by the terminal device. If they are consistent, according to the paging reason indication information, the reported data generated instant reply message is sent to the target server 10 or is called with the network. set up. The terminal device 40 may be a smart meter, a vending machine, an in-vehicle device, or the like. When the terminal device 4 is a smart meter, the reported data may be the number of meter readings; when the terminal device 40 is a vending machine, the reported data is information of the out-of-stock product; when the terminal device 40 is an in-vehicle device At the time, the reported information may be the location information of the vehicle, and the like. The terminal device 40 can transmit an instant reply message to the directory server 1 in the form of a short message service (SMS) or a multimedia message service (MMS). -21 - 201225599 Specifically, the terminal device 40 can select the transmission form of the instant reply message according to the default application. For example, when the data reported by the terminal device 40 is the number of meter readings, the instant reply message can be sent to the target server 10 through the short message service form; when the data reported by the terminal device 40 is the video monitoring information, An instant reply message can be sent to the target server 1 via the multimedia message service. Optionally, the information of the target server can be stored in the terminal device 40 in a pre-configured manner. Thus, the terminal device 40 can know which server the instant reply message should be sent to. It should be noted that the manner in which the terminal device 40 sends an instant reply message to the target server 10 can be implemented in the prior art. . For example, in the LTE/SAE system, the terminal device 40 can send an instant reply message to the servo through the enhanced base station and through the interface between the SGs interface, ie, the interface between the E and the MSC, based on the mode of the attached network. The device 10 can send an instant reply message to the server 10 via the IP network. In a circuit-switched WCDMA system, the terminal device 40 can send an instant reply message to the server 10 through the base station, the radio network controller, the MSC and the SMS entity; in the WC DM A system based on the packet switching, the terminal device 40 can send an instant reply message to the server 1 via the UTRAN 'SGSN and SMS entity. In the GSM system, the terminal device 40 can send an instant reply message to the server 10 through the base station, the base station controller, the MSC and the SMS entity. This is understood by those skilled in the art as 'for simplicity'. 22- 201225599 Do not repeat. The content included in the specific 'control signal may be any one of the following three situations: (the device identification of one or more terminal devices included in the η control signal, and the call type indication information; (2) the control signal The group identifier of a group of terminal devices and the logical area information of the group of terminal devices, and the call type indication information; (3) the control signal includes a group identifier of a group of terminal devices and one or more terminals in the group of terminal devices The device identification of the device, and the call type indication information. For the first scenario described above, the call type indication information is used to indicate that the one or more terminal devices report data such as the number of meter readings, or establish a call with the network. In either case, the call type indication information is used to indicate that the group terminal device reports data such as the number of meter readings, or establishes a call with the network. In addition, the logical area information of the group of terminal devices included in the control signal is provided by the server 10. According to the geographical area information of the group of terminal devices, for the LTE/SAE system, the logical region is It may be, for example, a vertical area (TA) identification or a community identification, and for a circuit switched based WCDMA system, the logical area information may be, for example, a location area (La) identification or a community identification, and for a WCDMA system based on packet switching. The logical area information may be, for example, a routing area (RA) identifier or a community identity. -24- 201225599 For the third scenario described above, the call type indication information is used to indicate one or more terminal device reports in a group of terminal devices. The data is, for example, a meter reading number, or a call setup with the network. In one embodiment, the next level core network device that receives the control signal can be implemented by the interaction between the modules shown in FIG. 4. As shown in FIG. The first determining device 101 in the requesting device 100 includes a second transmitting device 1011 and a first receiving device 1012; the routing information query device 5 in the home location register (HLR) / home user server (HSS) includes the The third receiving device 501, the first inquiring device 502 and the third transmitting device 503 are specific, and the second transmitting device 1011 in the first determining device 101 first transmits Routing information request message to the home location register (HLR)/local user server (HSS). The routing information request message is used to request routing information of the next-level core network device 20 that receives the control signal sent by the server 10. The content included in the routing information request message may be any one of the following three conditions: (1) The routing information request message includes the device identifier of one or more terminal devices. (2) The routing information request message includes one The logical area information of the group terminal device. (3) The routing information request message includes the device identifier of one or more terminal devices in the group of terminal devices. Then, the routing resource in the local location register/local user server is - 25- 201225599 The third receiving device 501 in the inquiry device 500 receives the routing information request message from the server 10. When the routing information request message is in the first and third cases, the first query device 5 中 2 in the routing information query device 500 in the home location register/home user server is based on the one or more terminal devices. The device identifier determines one or more lower-level core network devices 20, and then the third sending device 503 in the routing information querying device 500 sends the identifier information generation routing response message of the one or more lower-level core network devices 20 to Server 1 〇. When the routing information request message is in the second scenario, the first querying device 502 in the routing information querying device 500 in the home location register/home user server queries and queries according to the logical area information in the routing information request message. The one or more lower-level core network devices 20 corresponding to the logical area information and then the third sending device 503 in the routing information querying device 500 generates routing information response messages for the identifiers of the one or more lower-level core network devices 20. Send to server 1 0. Specifically, the home location register/local user server stores a correspondence table of logical area information managed by the core network device and the core network device, and the correspondence table is indexed by the core network device identifier. The first querying device 502 in the routing information querying device 500 in the home location register/local user server queries the logical area information in the routing information request message from the corresponding table to query one or the corresponding corresponding to the logical area information. The plurality of lower-level core network devices 20 ^ Finally, the first receiving device 1〇12 of the first determining device 101 receives the routing information response message from the home location register/home user server. Or an instant reply message of one or more terminal devices of a group of terminal devices or a group of terminal devices, wherein the instant reply message includes the data reported by the terminal device: if the second receiving device does not receive the data from the predetermined time period The instant response message of one/multiple terminal devices or a group of terminal devices or one or more of the terminal devices, the first transmitting device 102 resends the control signal. Next, the fourth receiving device 201 in the core network forwarding device 200 receives the control signal from the server 10, and the generating device 202 in the core network forwarding device 200 generates a paging message based on the control signal. The paging cause indication information is used to indicate that the one or more terminal devices or the group of terminal devices or one or more of the group of terminal devices report data or establish a call with the network. It should be noted that the paging reason indication information included in the paging message is consistent with the content of the call type indication information included in the control signal. Then the second determining means 203 in the core network forwarding device 200 is based on the device identification of one or more terminal devices or the logical area information of a group of terminal devices or the devices of one or more terminal devices in a group of terminal devices. The identification 'determines one or more target access network devices 3' and sends a paging message to the one or more target access network devices. For the device identification scenario in which the one or more terminal devices are included in the paging message, the second determining device 2〇3 determines the logical region information corresponding to the one or more terminal devices according to the device identifier of the one/multiple terminal devices. And determining an access network device comprising at least one community located in the logical area as one or more target access network devices 30 and transmitting a paging message to the one or more target access network devices 30. For the case where the paging message includes a group identifier of a group of terminal devices and logical area information of the group of terminal devices, the second determining device 203 includes at least one community located in the logical region according to the logical region information of the group of terminal devices. The access network device determines as one or more target access network devices 30 and transmits a paging message to the one or more target access network devices 30 » a group identification and a group including a group of terminal devices in the paging message a device identifier of one or more terminal devices in the terminal device, and the second determining device 203 determines logical region information corresponding to the one or more terminal devices according to device identifiers of the one or more terminal devices in the group of terminal devices And -28-201225599 determining at least one access network device of the community located in the logical area as one or more target access network devices 30 and transmitting a paging message to the one or more target access network devices 30 . Then, the fifth receiving device 301 in the access network forwarding device 300 receives the paging message from the core network device 20, and the processing device 302 in the access network forwarding device 300 converts the paging message into a paging message of the empty intermediate plane and passes the paging message. The empty mediation plane is sent. Finally, the sixth receiving device 401 in the response device 400 receives the paging message from the access network device 30, and the detecting device 402 in the response device 400 detects the device identifier of the one or more terminal devices included in the paging message or Whether the group identifier of the group terminal device or the group identifier of a group of terminal devices and the identifier of the device identifier of one or more terminal devices in the group of terminal devices match the own terminal device 40. If yes, the executing device 403 in the responding device 400 sends an instant reply message to the target server 10 according to the paging cause indication information in the paging message or establishes a call with the network.
