Abstract

The present invention relates to a monitoring system and method for machining, in which the monitoring system comprises: a controller data access module, an anomaly detection module, a virtual machining module, and a data management module. The controller data access module is used for accessing machining data of a controller; the anomaly detection module is used for performing an anomaly detection process so as to determine the occurrence of an anomaly; the data management module is provided for performing the following tasks: if an anomaly occurred, comparing the anomaly with data stored in a database for determining whether there is a machining data for avoiding and preventing the anomaly successfully; if an anomaly occurred, comparing the anomaly with data stored in a database for determining whether there is a machining data similar to the anomaly, and if the similar machining data is larger than a specific threshold, enabling a plural sets of optimization parameters to be generated; if an anomaly occurred and a plural sets of optimization parameters had been generated, comparing the machining data of the anomaly with the plural sets of optimization parameters so as to remove several sets of optimization parameters that are invalid; after removing the sets of optimization parameters that are invalid, enabling anomaly detection module to select one set of optimization parameters from the remaining sets of optimization parameters to be used in an anomaly avoiding process.
