Abstract

The present invention provides a polarizing plate containing: a first protection film, a polarizer consisting of polyvinyl alcohol, and an adhesive layer in this order, wherein, the loss elastic modulus at 80 DEG C of the adhesive layer of the polarizer is under 0.06 MPa, and the size shrinkage at absorption axis direction after heating at 85 DEG C for 500 hours is 500 [mu]m or less. The polarizing plate may further include a second protection film provided between the polarizer and the adhesive layer.
