Abstract
A semi-synthetic two-stroke engine oil formulation, which comprises: 10 to 70 wt% of mineral-based oil in which the mineral-based oil contains alkyl, cycloalkyl and aryl groups and is comprised of medium oil and/or heavy oil and has a viscosity of about 4 to 15 cSt at 100 deg.C 5 to 30 wt% of solvent in which the solvent is coal oil; 2 to 12 wt% of cleaning dispersant in which the main ingredient of the dispersant is selected from at least one of the following: phenoate of alkaline earth metal, salicylate of alkaline earth metal, neutral or alkaline petroleum sulfonate of alkaline earth metal, and synthetic alkaline earth metal sulfonate, and the main ingredient of the dispersant is selected from at least one of the following: mono-, di-, or borated polybutylene succinimide, borated polybutyleneamide, non-borated polyisobutyleneamine, and polyisobutylene succinimide; which is characterized in that the formulation further comprises 20 to 70 wt% of a mixture consisting of polyisobutylene with three different molecular weight in which the mixture comprises, based on the total weight of the two-stroke engine oil, 5 to 30 wt% of polyisobutylene with molecular weight of 900 to 1000, 5 to 30 wt% of polyisobutylene with molecular weight of 400 to 500 and 2 to 10 wt% of polyisobutylene with molecular weight of 1200 to 1400.
