Abstract

A keyboard consists of a housing in two parts (1, 2) that contain each a field of keys and that may swivel around a pivot. A bearing plate (3) is secured to the bottom plates of both parts of the housing, so that the parts of the housing may swivel like wings in relation to the bearing plate (3) and may be inclined with respect to each other in a roof-like manner by means of a hinge-like joint (5) integrated in the bearing plate (3). Holding means (4, 6, 7) provided on the lower side of the bearing plate lock the bearing plate in at least one angle of inclination.
