Abstract
A process for purifying L-phenylalnine includes: (1) acidify the solution of transamination; (2) filter the acidified solution; (3) put the filter liquor in the polyaromatic types strong acid cation exchange resin; (4) wash the resin ty strong acid, then by water; (5) extract L-phenylalnine from the resin by using hydroxylamine/alcohol solution; (6) concentrate the L-phenylalnine solution to be a slurry; (7) filter the slurry and get a precipitate; (8) wash the precipitate by water; (9) dry the precipitate; while the solution of transamination comes from transferring phenylpyruvate to L-phenylalnine by using aminotransferase.
