Abstract

A container blank which comprises: a planar member; a floor portion defined in the planar member; a pair of side wall portions defined in the planar member on opposed sides of the floor portion; a pair of end wall portions defined in the planar member at opposed ends of the floor portion; a plurality of flap portions defined in the planar member, a flap portion being arranged at, and joining, adjacent side edges of the side wall portions and end wall portions, each flap portion being formed as a continuation of its associated side wall portion and its associated end wall portion such that, when the planar member is erected to form a container, a flap arrangement is formed at each corner of the container, each flap arrangement comprising two flaps, one of which bears against the associated side wall portion and one of which bears against the associated end wall portion.
