An optical disc apparatus, which consists of recording media having helical or concentrically circular track, and optical pick-up head carried on lens of the recording media illuminating beam spot, and circuit transmitting device for driving the optical pick-up head in a direction transversal to said track, and precision transfer apparatus for driving said lens transversal to said track orientation on said pick-up head, and means for detecting position information with respect to said track of said bean spot from reflected light of illuminating beam spot of said recording media, according to said position information driving said circuit transfer apparatus and precise transfer apparatus into disc apparatus, comprises the features: (1) Driving signal generating means for generating driving signal of said pick-up head according to said position information; (2) Speed predicting means for predicting the speed of said pick-up head according to the driving signal, and target speed generating means for generating target speed of said beam spot according to said position information; (3) Speed detecting means for detecting the speed transversal to said track orientation of said beam spot according to said position information; (4) First control means for control the driving of said precision transfer apparatus according to the difference between predicting speed of said pick-up head and said beam spot speed.
