Abstract
A process for constructing a pier, which mainly comprises directly and vertically installing a plurality of round columns at predetermined locations in a port or on a seashore so that the round columns are arranged into several rows in parallel and at equal intervals, in which each round column has a specific length and diameter, and two adjacent rows of columns are interleaved and spaced from each other at an appropriate distance so that three adjacent round columns form a triangle, thereby achieving easy processing and good wave-reducing effect.
