A fuel injection timing detection device for a model engine suitable for a fuel injection device having a valve body for open/close the fuel injection opening, biasing means for biasing the valve body towards the close direction, and an electromagnetic coil enabling the valve body to move towards the open direction; the fuel injection timing detection device comprising a sensor used for detecting the model engine being in a predetermined period of an operating schedule and consisting of a magnet installed on the rotation shaft of the model engine and a sensor installed near the rotation shaft and capable of detecting the closing of the magnet.
