Abstract
A fuse comprising: a hollow insulative body having two opposite ends; a meltable element having two opposite ends, the meltable element being installed in the insulative body so that the opposite ends of the meltable element extend from the corresponding opposite ends of the insulative body and overlap on the corresponding ends of the insulative body; and first and second conductive caps separately covering the opposite ends of the insulative body and the meltable element, each of the first and second caps being connected to the opposite ends of the insulative body and the meltable element through a conductive epoxy, in which the conductive component comprises a precious metal.
