Abstract

A sort of travelingspark ignition system (TSI) for use in a burner, including the TSI: an ignitor, including: aprallel and spaced electrodes, being formed at least by the first and second electrode, for forming an electrode gap, where, the total of the radius of the electrode with respect to the length being over or equal 4, while the difference between the 2 radius being over 1/3; a dielectric substance, surrounding the perimeter of the electrode, and the space between the electrodes; being the uninsuated end of each of the electrodes free of the dielectric substance and opposing one to the other; a device, for securing the free end of the first and second electrode in the burning cyclinder of an engine onto the ignitor; an electronic device, for providing power difference between the electrodes, for the first voltage of enough level, for forming between the electrodes a channel formed by plasma and, for generation of lower power energy than the first voltage, for maintaining current flowing in the channel between the electrodes on the plasma; where, the electric field generated by the power energy difference generated between the electrodes and a magnetic field generated by the current work one to the other, for generation of a force applied on the plasma, for, escape of plasma from the original area, for increasing the volume of the plasma.
