Abstract

A band connecting portion at each of opposite sides of a watch case comprises a case side upper connecting portion and a case side lower connecting portion, each having a hole in a lateral direction with respect to a longitudinal direction of a band, and a band side upper connecting portion and a band side lower connecting portion, each having a lateral hole, are formed on the band. A spring loaded pipe or a slit pipe is inserted in the hole, so that the band side upper connecting portion is connected to the case side upper connecting portion, and the band side lower connecting portion is connected to the case side lower connecting portion so as to hold the watch case and the band in a tight contact state.
