Abstract

Description

乙烯基矽烷單體,具體而言胺基乙烯基矽烷,習知用作彈性聚合物(橡膠)中之改質劑,特別是骨幹-改質劑。即,(骨幹)改質實現聚合物與填料在橡膠硫化中之改性反應及相互作用,如在輪胎中所用。然而,自含胺之胺基乙烯基矽烷釋放之二級胺可潛在地導致亞硝胺之形成,其當自橡膠產品諸如輪胎滲出時,具有致癌可能。就此而言,TRGS-552(「Technische Regeln fuer Gefahrstoffe」,Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances)適用。
DE 32 43 141描述特定的硫化加速劑,其係基於且尤其衍生於二級胺,使得硫化加速劑當用於製造橡膠產品時,不生成致癌的亞硝胺。
胺基乙烯基矽烷在橡膠領域中用作二烯單體諸如丁二烯(視情況連同芳族乙烯基單體諸如苯乙烯)聚合以產生橡膠中的改質單體,該橡膠可有利地
用於製造省油(fuel-efficient)橡膠的橡膠。獲得省油輪胎之一種方法在於生產具有減小的遲滯損失之輪胎調配物。交聯彈性體聚合物組成物之遲滯損失與其在60℃下之tan δ值相關(參見ISO 4664-1:2005;Rubber,Vulcanized or thermoplastic;Determination of dynamic properties-part 1:General guidance)。一般而言,在60℃下之tan δ值相對較小之硫化彈性體聚合物組成物因具有較低遲滯損失而較佳。在最終輪胎產品中,此轉化成較低滾動阻力及較佳燃料經濟性。相反,在0℃下較低的tan δ值對應於輪胎產品之濕抓持力劣化,且一般認為較低滾動阻力輪胎可以在以濕抓持力劣化為代價時獲得。例如,若在無規溶液苯乙烯-丁二烯橡膠(無規SSBR)中,聚苯乙烯單元濃度相對於總聚丁二烯單元濃度降低,則SSBR玻璃轉移溫度降低,且因此在60℃下之tan δ與在0℃下之tan δ兩者均降低,從而對應於輪胎之滾動阻力提高及濕抓持力性能劣化。因此,當準確地評價橡膠硫化性能時,在60℃下之tan δ與在0℃下之tan δ應當連同輪胎生熱性一起監測。
WO2015/055252描述乙烯基矽烷化合物,其可實用作共軛二烯單體聚合以產生彈性聚合物中的改質單體,該等彈性聚合物可用於橡膠物品諸如輪胎。
US 8,299,167係關於一種共軛二烯聚合物,其係藉由在鹼金屬催化劑存在下聚合共軛二烯單體及乙烯基胺基矽烷而獲得。
WO 2012/091753係關於矽烷官能化聚合物及由此製備之橡膠硫化橡膠。作者描述了某些烯基胺基矽烷在引發陰離子聚合中之用途。
本發明旨在提供一種用於製備彈性聚合物之程序,以及對應的彈性聚合物及相關產品,其中在彈性聚合物的製造及加工中(特別是在橡膠混配期間)不生成致癌亞硝胺或無亞硝胺之揮發性排放。本發明進一步旨在提供彈性聚合物,其就孟納黏度(CML1-4)而言表現出改良的儲存穩定性,同時在製造及加工

本發明係基於發現,在典型的聚合物混合程序中,即在水分存在下、在高溫例如140至170℃、及在機械應力之條件(諸如橡膠化合物在捏合、研磨、
或擠壓期間的經歷)下,橡膠化合物中之胺保護基傾向於自胺基乙烯基矽烷改質之化合物釋放。一些二級胺之亞硝胺易於在NO(氧化氮)存在下形成,且二級胺之一些亞硝胺具有高致癌可能性,所以應避免其生成,特別是作為聚合物混合程序中之副產物,具體而言當製備輪胎調配物時或在含胺之橡膠之儲存時。本發明之彈性聚合物(藉由一或多種胺基乙烯基矽烷化合物改質)不會自釋放胺形成亞硝胺,或任何此類亞硝胺已被證明不具有致癌性。因此,本發明之彈性聚合物可根據現有技術在商業應用中處理。
式1之胺基矽基單體
在式1之胺基矽基單體中,一般較佳控制取代基之空間體積,因為其可對聚合動力學有直接影響。因此,就聚合動力學而言,當考慮相同的胺取代基時,單胺基乙烯基矽烷優於二胺基或三胺基取代之矽烷。因此,當考慮聚合動力學時,對於式1化合物來說較佳的是y=1且x=2。然而,已經觀察到,就以相同莫耳配給量之燃料消耗指標而言,以二胺基或三胺基乙烯基矽烷改質之聚合物硫化橡膠表現出較好的總體性能。因此,當考慮燃料消耗時,對於式1化合物來說較佳的是y=2且x=1或y=3且x=0。

聚合
根據本發明之第一態樣之用於製備彈性聚合物之程序包含在一或多種引發劑化合物存在下聚合一或多種共軛二烯單體、一或多種式1之胺基矽基單體、及視情況一或多種芳族單乙烯基單體。彈性聚合物可一般經由陰離子、自由基、或過渡金屬催化之聚合製備,但較佳藉由陰離子聚合製備。可組合使用二或更多種式1之胺基矽基化合物。聚合可在溶劑中進行並且可用以下中之一或多者進行:鏈末端改質劑、偶合劑(包括改質偶合劑)、無規化劑化合物、及聚合加速劑化合物。

共軛二烯(共軛二烯單體)
實用於本發明中的示範性共軛二烯單體包括1,3-丁二烯、2-(C1-C5烷基)-1,3-丁二烯,諸如異戊二烯(2-甲基-1,3-丁二烯)、2,3-二甲基-1,3-丁二烯、1,3-戊二烯、2,4-己二烯、1,3-己二烯、1,3-庚二烯、1,3-辛二烯、2-甲基-2,4-戊二烯、環戊二烯、2,4-己二烯、1,3-環-辛二烯、β-月桂油烯、萜品烯、α-菌綠烯。可使用二或更多種共軛二烯之混合物。較佳的共軛二烯包括1,3-丁二烯及異戊二烯。在一個實施例中,共軛二烯為1,3-丁二烯。基於聚合反應中所用之單體之總重量,共軛二烯可以至多99.99wt.%、較佳30至99.99wt.%之總量使用。
芳族單乙烯基單體

其他單體
可用於製備本發明之彈性體聚合物中的除式1之胺基矽基單體、共軛二烯單體、及芳族乙烯基單體以外的共聚單體包括丙烯酸單體,諸如丙烯腈、
丙烯酸酯(例如丙烯酸、丙烯酸甲酯、丙烯酸乙酯、丙烯酸丙酯及丙烯酸丁酯)、及甲基丙烯酸酯(例如甲基丙烯酸甲酯、甲基丙烯酸乙酯、甲基丙烯酸丙酯、及甲基丙烯酸丁酯)。
共聚單體亦包括芳族二或更高乙烯基化合物,其具有而或更多個連接芳基之乙烯基,諸如二乙烯基苯,包括1,2-二乙烯基苯、1,3-二乙烯基苯、及1,4-二乙烯基苯。其可以1wt.%或更少之總量使用(基於用於製備聚合物之單體之總莫耳重量)。在一較佳實施例中,1,2-二乙烯基苯係與苯乙烯及丁二烯或異戊二烯組合使用。
引發劑化合物

溶劑

鏈末端改質劑
一或多種鏈末端改質劑可在本發明之聚合反應中藉由與本發明聚合物之聚合物鏈之末端反應來進一步控制聚合物性質。一般而言,諸如WO 2007/047943、WO 2009/148932、US 6,229,036、及US 2013/0131263中所揭示之矽烷-硫化物ω鏈末端改質劑可用於此目的,該等專利各自以全文引用之方式併入本文中。合適用於本發明的其他鏈末端改質劑為WO 2014/040640及WO 2015/010710中所揭示者以及WO 2014/040639中所述之矽烷硫化物改質劑,該等專利各自以全文引用之方式併入本文中。
在聚合期間,鏈末端改質劑可間歇(或在定時或不定時間隔下)或連續添加,但較佳在多於80%之聚合轉化率下,且更佳在多於90%之轉化率下添加。較佳的是,大量聚合物鏈末端在與鏈末端改質劑反應之前未封端;即,存在活聚合物鏈末端且其能夠與改質劑反應。
偶合劑
為進一步控制聚合物分子量及聚合物性質,可在本發明程序中使用偶合劑(「連接劑」)作為視情況選用之組分。與相同分子量之非偶合基本上線性聚合物大分子相比,偶合劑將藉由減少彈性體聚合物之遊離鏈末端之數目來減少遲滯損失及/或降低聚合物溶液黏度。諸如四氯化錫及四甲氧基矽烷之偶合劑可官能化聚合物鏈末端並與彈性體組成物之組分反應,例如與填料或聚合物之不飽和部分反應。示範性偶合劑描述於以下專利中:U.S.3,281,383、U.S.3,244,664、及U.S.3,692,874(例如,四氯矽烷);U.S.3,978,103、U.S.4,048,206、4,474,908、及U.S.6,777,569(嵌段巰基矽烷);U.S.3,078,254(多鹵素取代之烴,
諸如1,3,5-三(溴甲基)苯);U.S.4,616,069(錫化合物及有機胺基或胺化合物);及U.S.2005/0124740。一般而言,在添加偶合劑之前、期間、或之後添加鏈末端改質劑,並且改質反應較佳在添加偶合劑之後進行。所用偶合劑之總量將影響偶合聚合物之孟納黏度且通常在每100公克彈性體聚合物0.001至4.5毫當量之範圍內,例如每100公克聚合物0.01至約1.5毫當量。
無規化劑化合物

加速劑化合物
聚合可視情況包括加速劑以提高引發劑之反應性(且由此增加聚合速率),無規排列引入聚合物中之芳族乙烯基單體,或提供芳族乙烯基單體之單鏈,由此影響芳族乙烯基單體在活陰離子彈性體共聚物中之分佈。加速劑之實例包括烷氧化鈉或苯氧化鈉及烷氧化鉀或苯氧化鉀,較佳烷氧化鉀或苯氧化鉀,諸如異丙氧化鉀、第三丁氧化鉀、第三戊氧化鉀、正庚氧化鉀、苄氧化鉀、苯氧化鉀;羧酸之鉀鹽,諸如異戊酸、辛酸、十二烷酸、棕櫚酸、硬脂酸、油酸、亞麻酸、安息香酸、鄰苯二甲酸及2-乙基己酸;有機磺酸之鉀鹽,諸如十二基苯磺酸、十四基苯磺酸、十六基苯磺酸及十八基苯磺酸;以及有機亞磷酸之鉀鹽,諸如二乙基亞磷酸鹽、二異丙基亞磷酸鹽、聯苯亞磷酸鹽、二丁基亞磷酸鹽及二月桂基亞磷酸鹽。此類加速劑化合物可以每1.0公克原子當量鋰引發劑0.005至0.5莫耳之總量添加。若添加小於0.005mol,則通常不能達成足夠作用。另一方面,若加速劑化合物之量多於約0.5mol,則鏈末端改質反應之生產率及效率可顯著降低。
配給
式1之胺基矽基單體可以每當量引發劑化合物0.5當量至每當量引發劑100當量,較佳每當量引發劑1.25至10當量,更佳每當量引發劑1.5至10、或2至10、或2至5當量之總量使用。剩餘量的彈性聚合物衍生自共軛二烯單體及視情況選用之芳族單乙烯基單體,以及其他視情況選用之組分,包括其他單體、鏈末端改質劑、偶合劑、及、無規化劑。
在關於共軛二烯單體及視情況選用之芳族單乙烯基單體、引發劑化合物、及其他組分的聚合程序中式1之胺基矽基單體之添加(「配給」)模式將影響所得聚合物之結構。因此,可製備具有所需比例及序列的乙烯基矽烷聚合物嵌段及其他單體嵌段之統計共聚物及嵌段共聚物。
聚合物
根據本發明之第二態樣之彈性聚合物係藉由本發明之程序可獲得或獲得,即藉由在一或多種引發劑化合物存在下聚合包含一或多種共軛二烯單體、一或多種式1之胺基矽基單體、及視情況一或多種芳族單乙烯基單體之單體。本發明之聚合物可為統計的嵌段或遞變共聚物、或α或α,ω改質之聚合物,其中式1之胺基矽基單體藉助於其乙烯基功能併入聚合物鏈中。聚合物可為線性或分支聚合物。
在較佳實施例中,本發明之聚合物為SSBR(溶液苯乙烯丁二烯橡膠),較佳乙烯基含量為5-80%、更佳30-75%、最佳40-70%(取決於特定應用),苯乙烯含量(取決於特定應用)為40-70wt.%、或15-40wt.%,、或2-15wt.%;PBR(聚丁二烯橡膠),乙烯基含量為<15%、或15-40%、或40-80%;PIR(聚異戊二烯橡膠);SSIR(溶液苯乙烯異戊二烯丁二烯橡膠);或SSIBR(溶液苯乙烯異戊二烯丁二烯橡膠);更佳的是,SSBR或PBR;甚至更佳的是,SSBR,其各自藉由式1之胺基矽基單體之併入來改質。在SSBR之情況下,彈性體聚合物之特徵為-90至0℃、較佳-80至-5℃、更佳-70至-10℃之玻璃轉移溫度(Tg,藉由DSC所確定)。貨車輪胎應用之最佳Tg為-70至-40℃,且客車輪胎應用之最佳Tg為-40至-10℃。
在較佳實施例中,本發明之聚合物之峰值分子量(藉由GPC測量)為:800至10,000g/mol、或10,000至50,000g/mol、或50,000至120,000g/mol、或120,000至250,000g/mol、或250,000至400,000g/mol、或400,000至800,000g/mol。
非硫化(非固化)聚合物組成物
本發明第三態樣之非硫化聚合物組成物包含本發明之彈性體聚合物
及一或多種選自以下之其他組分:(i)添加至用於製備該聚合物之聚合程序中或由於該聚合程序而形成之組分,(ii)在自該聚合程序移除溶劑後剩餘的組分,及(iii)完成該聚合物製造程序之後添加至該聚合物的組分。具體而言,此類組分(i)及(iii)可為選自以下之一或多種組分:油(增量劑油)、填料、穩定劑、及其他聚合物包括聚合物油(Mp(實值)=800至50,000g/mol,藉由GPC測量)(其不為本發明聚合物)。此類其他聚合物包括在此領域中習知稱為寡聚物者。在一個實施例中,該聚合物組成物另外包含一或多種硫化劑。

習知將以下組分添加於輪胎中所用之非硫化組成物中:增量劑油、穩定劑、填料、其他聚合物包括聚合物油(Mp(實值)=800至50,000g/mol,藉由GPC測量)。
(增量劑)油
在一個實施例中,本發明之聚合物組成物包含本發明之彈性聚合物以及一或多種油(尤其是礦物油)。對於油之代表性實例及分類,參見WO 2009/148932及US 2005/0159513,其各自以全文引用的方式併入本文中。此類油包括例如慣常已知之增量劑油,諸如芳族、環烷、及石蠟增量劑油,例如MES(輕度萃取溶劑合物)、TDAE(經處理之餾出芳族萃取物)、橡膠至液體(RTL)油、

該一或多種油可在聚合程序終止之前或之後添加至聚合物中。當將增量劑油添加至聚合物溶液中時,添加之時機較佳應在聚合物改質或聚合終止之後,例如在添加改質劑或聚合終止劑之後。在添加增量劑油之後,油增量之聚合物組成物可藉由藉助於直接乾燥方法或蒸汽汽提將任何聚合溶劑與聚合物分離,使用真空乾燥器、熱風乾燥器、滾筒、及其類似物乾燥橡膠而獲得。
聚合物組成物可含有一或多種總量0至70phr、較佳0.1至60phr、更佳0.1至50phr之油。當液體聚合物在本發明之聚合物組成物中用作增量劑油時,在計算聚合物基質之組成時不將其考慮在內。
在另一實施例中,在機械混合器中將油連同較佳至少一種填料及至少一種其他聚合物一起添加至「無溶劑」聚合物中。
填料
視情況包含一或多種如上所定義之增量劑油的本發明之聚合物組成物可進一步包含一或多種填料。填料可在聚合程序終止之前或之後添加至聚合物中。合適填料之實例包括碳黑(包括導電性碳黑)、碳奈米管(CNT)(包括離散CNT、中空碳纖維(HCF)及、攜帶一或多個官能基(諸如羥基、羧基、及羰基)之改質CNT)、石墨、石墨烯(包括離散石墨烯簿層)、二氧化矽、碳-二氧化矽雙相
填料、黏土(層化矽酸鹽,包括剝離奈米黏土及有機黏土)、碳酸鈣、碳酸鎂、氧化鎂、二氧化鈦、橡膠凝膠、木質素、非晶填料(諸如介於玻璃粒子之填料、基於澱粉之填料)、及其組合。合適填料之其他實例描述於WO 2009/148932中,該專利以全文引用之方式併入本文中。
可使用熟習此項技術者慣常已知的任何類型之碳黑。在一個實施例中,碳黑根據ASTM D 1510具有以下碘值:20至250mg/g、較佳30至180mg/g、更佳40至180mg/g、且甚至更佳40至130mg/g,且根據ASTM D 2414具有以下DBP值:80至200ml/100g、較佳100至200ml/100g、更佳115至200ml/100g(DBP值藉助於鄰苯二甲酸二丁酯確定碳黑或任何光亮填料之比吸收體積)。
可使用熟習此項技術者慣常已知且適用作輪胎橡膠摻合物之填料的任何類型之二氧化矽。尤其較佳使用高度分散的沉澱型二氧化矽,其具有35至350m2/g、較佳35至260m2/g、更佳100至260m2/g且甚至更佳130至235m2/g之氮表面積(BET表面積;根據DIN ISO 9277及DIN 66132),且具有30至400m2/g、較佳30至250m2/g、更佳100至250m2/g且甚至更佳125至230m2/g之CTAB表面積(根據ASTM D 3765)。此類二氧化矽,例如在用於輪胎面之橡膠摻合物中,造成硫化橡膠之尤其有益的物理性質。另外,其可在摻合物之處理中帶來優點,即藉由減少摻合所需時間,同時保持產品性質,由此提高生產率。實用之二氧化矽包括彼等:類型Ultrasil® VN3(Evonik Industries之商標)以及高度分散型,所謂的HD二氧化矽(例如Rhodia之Zeosil® 1165 MP)。

矽烷偶合劑
在一些實施例中,在本發明之聚合物組成物另外含有二氧化矽、層化矽酸鹽(諸如麥羥矽鈉石)、或碳-二氧化矽雙相填料中之一或多者時,可將矽烷偶合劑(用於使聚合物與填料相容)添加至本發明之聚合物組成物。對於100重量份二氧化矽及/或碳-二氧化矽雙相填料之總量而言,添加之矽烷偶合劑之典型量為約1重量份至約20重量份,且在一些實施例中,為約5重量份至約15重量份。

其他聚合物
除本發明之聚合物、增量劑油、填料等外,本發明之聚合物組成物可另外含有其他聚合物,特別是其他彈性聚合物。其他聚合物可在處理聚合物摻合物之前以溶液物形式添加至本發明聚合物溶液中或可在機械混合程序期間,例如在Brabender混合器中添加。
本文提及之其他(彈性)聚合物為並非根據本發明聚合物之彈性聚合物,即其不含衍生自式1之胺基矽基單體的重複單元。此類其他聚合物包括在此領域中習知稱為寡聚物者。
硫化劑及硫化加速劑
本發明之聚合物組成物可視情況進一步包含一或多種硫化劑。慣常用於製造橡膠產品之任何硫化劑皆可用於本發明中,且可使用二或更多種硫化劑之組合。
硫、充當硫供體之含硫化合物(諸如二硫醇)、硫加速劑系統及過氧化
物為最常見硫化劑。充當硫供體之含硫化合物之實例包括二硫代二嗎啉(DTDM)、二硫化四甲基秋蘭姆(TMTD)、二硫化四乙基秋蘭姆(TETD)、及四硫化二五亞甲基秋蘭姆(DPTT)。硫加速劑之實例包括胺衍生物、胍衍生物、醛胺縮合產物、噻唑、黃酸酯、秋蘭姆硫化物、二硫代胺基甲酸酯、及硫代磷酸酯。較佳使用一或多種選自以下之磺醯胺加速劑:N-環己基2-苯并噻唑亞磺醯胺(CBS)、N,N-二環己基苯并噻唑2-亞磺醯胺(DCBS)、苯并噻唑基2-碸烯醯嗎啉(MBS)、及N-第三丁基2-苯并噻唑基亞磺醯胺(TBBS)。諸如在商標名稱Vulkuren®(1,6-雙(N,N-二苄基硫代胺甲醯基二硫)-己烷;Lanxess)、Duralink®或Perkalink®(1,3-雙(檸康亞醯胺甲基)苯;Lanxess)下可獲得或在WO 2010/049261中所公開之其他交聯系統可添加至聚合物組合物中。過氧化物之實例包括二-第三丁基-過氧化物、二-(第三丁基-過氧基-三甲基-環己烷)、二-(第三丁基-過氧基-異丙基-)苯、二氯-苯甲醯基過氧化物、二異丙苯基過氧化物、第三丁基-異丙苯基-過氧化物、二甲基-二(第三丁基-過氧基)己烷、二甲基-二(第三丁基-過氧基)己炔及二(第三丁基-過氧基)戊酸丁酯(Rubber Handbook、SGF、The Swedish Institution of Rubber Technolgy 2000)。
碸烯醯胺型、胍型、或秋蘭姆型硫化加速劑可連同如所需要之硫化劑一起使用。
另外,本發明之聚合物組成物可按慣常使用之比例含有習知添加劑及硫化助劑。此類添加劑包括:a)老化抑制劑,諸如N-苯基N'-(1,3-二甲基丁基)-對苯二胺(6PPD)、N,N'-二苯基-對苯二胺(DPPD)、N,N'-二甲苯基-對苯二胺(DTPD)、N-異丙基N'-苯基-對苯二胺(IPPD)、2,2,4-三甲基1,2-二氫喹啉(TMQ),b)活化劑,諸如氧化鋅及脂肪酸(例如硬脂酸),
c)蠟,d)樹脂,特別是黏合樹脂,e)粉碎添加劑,諸如2,2'-二苯甲醯胺基二硫化二苯(DBD)及f)加工添加劑,諸如鋅皂及脂肪酸酯及其衍生物。
氧化鋅(鋅白)較佳用作硫加速劑系統之組分。
硫化劑通常以每100重量份聚合物,0.5至10重量份,或在一些實施例中1至6重量份之量添加至聚合物組成物中。硫化加速劑之實例及其相對於聚合物之量在WO 2009/148932中給出,該專利以全文引用之方式併入本文中。
硫化聚合物組成物及其製備方法
本發明第四態樣之硫化聚合物組成物係藉由在此項技術中慣常已知之條件下及以此項技術中慣常已知之機器硫化包含一或多種硫化劑之本發明聚合物組成物而獲得。
包含硫化聚合物組成物之物品
因為本發明之硫化聚合物組成物展現低滾動阻力、低動態熱積聚、及提高的濕抓持力,所以其良好適用於製造例如輪胎或輪胎部分包括例如輪胎面、側壁、及輪胎胎體以及其他工業產品,諸如帶子、軟管、振動阻尼器、及鞋組件。因此,本發明第六態樣之物品包含至少一種由本發明之硫化聚合物組成物形成之組分。該物品可為例如輪胎包括其部分(諸如輪胎面、輪胎側壁、及輪胎胎體)、帶子、墊圈、密封件、軟管、振動阻尼器、高爾夫球、或鞋組件諸如鞋底。

2)聚合過程及性能評估
一般聚合過程:
將環己烷、丁二烯、及苯乙烯(量在表2及表3中給出)饋入至無空氣10 l反應器中,且將攪拌混合物加熱至40℃。然後添加TMEDA及胺基矽基單體(量及材料在表2及表3中給出),且逐滴饋入正丁基鋰以與雜質反應,直至反應混合物顏色變為淺黃色(滴定)。隨後,立即饋入對應於聚合物之目標分子量的在環己烷中所需量之引發劑以起始聚合。將饋入引發劑之起始時間定義為聚合之起始時間。同時,藉由自饋入引發劑開始在反應器壁中加熱或冷卻至60℃之最終聚合溫度達約80min來提高溫度,直至指示定量轉化。然後添加聚合物Ref.B鏈末端改質劑二甲氧基二甲基矽烷(DMDS,量給出在表2中)。在添加甲醇之後20min後終止反應。用Irganox 1520D穩定聚合物溶液,藉由蒸汽汽提回收聚合物並乾燥直至獲得<0.6%殘餘揮發性物之含量。樣品之完整資料集在表2及表3中給出。
改質劑1g:二乙基胺基二甲基乙烯基矽烷;1h:雙(二乙基胺基)甲基乙烯基矽烷
改質劑1g及1h係與1j-1k類似製備。
以phr計之二氧化矽化合物之混合配方
二氧化矽填充之化合物之性能
相較於未改質樣品Ref A,鏈末端改質之樣品Ref B以及目前最佳技術樣品Ref C及Ref D明確指示由較高化合物黏度中所反映之對應改質所引起的更顯著的橡膠-填料相互反應。對於樣品E、F、G、及H觀察到與樣品Ref B、Ref C、及Ref D類似的趨勢,其展現在79.5MU(G)至93.8MU(H)範圍內之黏度且因此亦顯著高於未改質之Ref A,強調個別胺基乙烯基矽烷共聚單體支持有效的橡膠-填料相互作用。樣品E及G進一步顯示在70℃下分別62.3%及63.1%之回彈性,其與目前最佳技術樣品Ref C及Ref D之回彈性(63.5%及63.8%)相當。相反,樣品F及H之在70℃下的回彈性值明顯高出1-2%,其可歸結於由於來源於相應胺基乙烯基矽烷之橡膠-填料相互作用甚至更有效,而彈性較高。這種趨勢與相對於樣品E及G,較低的動態熱積聚、略高的化合物黏度、及減小至多17%的在60℃下的tan δ密切相關。相較於目前最佳技術樣品Ref C及Ref D,樣品F及H仍展現顯著改良的在60℃下的tan δ值,但是自鏈末端改質Ref B及特別是未改質Ref A之激增甚至更顯著。
在關於加工指標化合物黏度CML1+4及滾動阻力指標在60℃下之tan δ藉由將兩個反數值相乘以得到兩種關鍵尺寸之間的平衡的加工-性能指數(proc-perf指數)(越高越好)時,特別是本發明之樣品F以proc-perf指數138明顯優於其他目前最佳技術樣品且因此提供加工與性能指示之間的目標衝突之最佳解決方案。本發明之所有樣品E至H提供優異的加工性能平衡,而不滲出在TRGS-552下具有高關注的二級胺。
由於本文所比較之所有樣品之硫化橡膠之動態Tg非常類似,所以濕抓持力指標在0℃下之tan δ及磨損指標DIN不表明除了在藉由本方法所給出之預期範圍內的偏差之外的任何值得注意的趨勢,即,如所預期,所觀察之偏差不顯著。
測試方法
A)聚合物中結合之胺分析
在蒸汽介導移除環己烷之後,將乾式聚合物溶解於甲苯(5wt%)中。製備定義量之聚合物溶液。添加兩滴氯甲酸異丁酯(IBCF),且將混合物在室溫下振盪20min。存在胺之衍生及所得胺甲酸酯至有機相之萃取同時發生。添加400μl鹼性甲醇。將混合物振盪5min以用於破壞過量的IBCF。將甲苯相轉移至新的10mL離心小瓶中且與1mL NaOH水溶液混合5min作為洗滌步驟。將甲苯相轉移至小瓶中且分析。
B)混合時之胺排放(空氣)
以具有78cm3混合室之Haake Rheomix OS(Thermo Scientific)執行空氣排放分析之混合實驗(一階段混合程序)。成分:100phr SSBR、80phr Ultrasil 7000GR、6.4phr Si75、1.5phr硬脂酸。混合時間:30min,最低溫度150℃。以胺強化橡膠樣品測試實驗設置。添加量為2000ppm之各胺(二乙胺、甲基哌嗪、乙基哌嗪)。偵測:DEA(300mg/m3);甲基哌嗪(8mg/m3);乙基哌嗪(0.4mg/m3)
C)聚合物之胺基亞硝胺之莎列特式萃取
將聚合物Ref D於含有亞硝氣之圓底燒瓶中儲存3天(狄賽爾煙模擬)。隨後,將聚合物在抗壞血酸存在下以甲醇連續萃取24h(索氏過程)以防止非硝化胺之氧化。以校準GC/MS分析樣品。
根據有害化合物之技術法則(TRGS-552),橡膠及輪胎工業中1及2類亞硝胺(例如,來自二乙胺、二丁胺)之限度為0.5-1μg/m3空氣。如上文所顯示,在式1之範疇外之胺基乙烯基矽烷不能以工業規模安全地應用。
樣品製備(活性碳管之空氣測量):
將具有活性碳(Draeger BIA)之樣品管置於混合室頂部上的氛圍中。以連續流量0.8-1.0 l/min取得(Draeger pump X-act 5000)空氣樣品達15min。將管以合適的蓋子封閉並於實驗室冰箱中儲存兩天。對於活性碳之溶劑脫附,以玻璃割刀打開管。將收集及突破區域轉移至分開的11ml小瓶中。
添加2mL二氯甲烷/甲醇(75:25)-混合物,然後立即用隔膜蓋密封小瓶。將小瓶靜置在室溫下脫附並偶爾用手振盪。在GC-MS分析之前,將脫附溶液直接過濾至GC-小瓶中。
使用配備有5973N質譜儀之Agilent 6890氣相層析儀執行GC-MS分析。將5%苯基-甲基矽氧烷(HP-5)毛細管柱(30m x 0.32mm I.D.×0.25μm膜厚度)用於分離。層析條件如下:起始柱溫度為40℃達0.5min,以2.5℃/min增加至60℃,然後以5℃/min增加至100℃,以15℃/min增加至200℃,且最終以35℃/min增加至280℃。將注射口及偵測器之溫度分別設定為250℃及230℃。以分流模式(1:50)自動執行1μL樣品溶液之注射。以電子離子化模式(EI)操作質譜儀。以掃描模式進行採集,收集質量範圍為40至400m/z。
樣品製備(石英管之空氣測量):
將具有活性二氧化矽(Draeger ADS)之樣品管置於混合室頂部上的氛圍中。以連續流量0.8-1.0 l/min取得空氣樣品達15min。將管以合適的蓋子封閉

使用配備有5973N質譜儀之Agilent 6890氣相層析儀執行GC-MS分析。將5%苯基-甲基矽氧烷(HP-5)毛細管柱(30m x 0.32mm I.D.×0.25μm膜厚度)用於分離。層析條件如下:起始柱溫度為40℃達1min,以10℃/min增加至180℃,且最終以30℃/min增加至300℃。將注射口及偵測器之溫度分別設定為250℃及230℃。以分流模式(1:50)自動執行2μL樣品溶液之注射。以電子離子化模式(EI)操作質譜儀。以選擇離子監測模式進行採集(二乙胺-胺甲酸酯為57;118;158且甲基哌嗪-胺甲酸酯為58;70;200)。
使用HEWLETT PACKARD HP 1100,藉由SEC/RI進行分子量分析。將溶離劑THF線上脫氣。溶劑流速為1.0ml/min。每次分析注射100μL聚合物溶液。在40℃下進行分析。最初基於聚苯乙烯校準來計算分子量並且在表中作為聚苯乙烯給出。實際分子量(SSBR分子量)可藉由除以由SEC/RI與SEC/MALLS之分子量之間的早期比較衍生之因子來確定。該因子值視聚合物組合物(苯乙烯及丁二烯含量)且在某種程度上視分子量而定。對於具有21%及30%苯乙烯之SSBR可使用1.52之因子。
在5mm BBO探針中在BRUKER Avance 400上進行NMR光譜法。
溶劑、頻率、及溫度在特性化資料中給出。
在衰減全反射中量測之FTIR光譜係用於測定乙烯基含量及苯乙烯含量。
在下列條件下使用DSC Q2000測定玻璃轉移溫度:
重量:約10-12mg
樣品容器:Alu/S
溫度範圍:(-140...80)℃
加熱速率:分別為20K/min、5K/min
冷卻速率:自由冷卻
沖洗氣體:20ml Ar/min
冷卻劑:液態氮
各樣品至少測量一次。測量含有兩個加熱輪次。將第二輪加熱用於確定玻璃轉移溫度。
使用轉子較少之剪切流變計(MDR 2000 E)進行根據ASTM D 5289-95之非硫化流變性質之量測以表徵固化特性。

Claims (19)
- 一種用於製備彈性聚合物之程序,該程序包含在一或多種引發劑化合物存在下聚合一或多種共軛二烯單體、一或多種以下式1之胺基矽基單體、及視情況一或多種芳族單乙烯基單體:
其中x及y為整數,其中x+y=3且y1;各R獨立地為C1-C30烴基;且各A獨立地為選自以下式3至8之胺基之一者: 其中各R2獨立地選自C1-C8烷基及-CH2-O-(CH2)1-6-H,且X選自鍵、-O-、-CH2-、及-CH2CH2-, 其中各R3獨立地選自烯丙基、環己基、C8-C20烷基、及-(CH2)2-Ym-CH3,其中Y獨立地選自-CH2-、-O-、及-S-,m為選自5至17之整數,且至少一個Y選自-O-及-S-,限制條件為任何基團-O-及-S-僅連接-CH2-或-CH3, 式6其中各R4獨立地選自H及C1-C8烷基, 其中R'選自甲基、乙基、丙基、丁基、戊基、己基、及苄基;且各R5獨立地選自H、甲基、乙基、及丙基; 其中R"選自線性或分支C1-C8烷基。 - 如申請專利範圍第1項之程序,其中該聚合為陰離子聚合。
