Abstract

An electronic apparatus capable of detecting abnormal heartbeat signal is provided. The electronic apparatus includes a receive unit, a physiological information obtain unit and a control unit. The receive unit receives the heartbeat signal under test of the user. The physiological information obtain unit obtains the physiological information of the user corresponding to the heartbeat signal under test. The control unit selects a heartbeat sample from a heartbeat sample database, compares the heartbeat signal under test to the selected heartbeat signal in order to obtain a correlation coefficient between the heartbeat signal under test and the heartbeat sample and compares the correlation coefficient with a predetermined threshold, so as to determine whether the heartbeat signal is the abnormal heartbeat signal.
