Изобретение касается элемента защиты ценного документа, содержащего структурный слой и дифракционные первую и вторую рельефные структуры, причем рельефные структуры, если смотреть параллельно плоскости структурного слоя, расположены в разных плоскостях элемента защиты, причем первая рельефная структура прилегает к частичному первому отражающему слою, а вторая рельефная структура прилегает к частичному второму отражающему слою, и причем - если первый отражающий слой повернут к наблюдателю - вторая единица информации, образованная второй рельефной структурой, по крайней мере, частично закрыта, и - если второй отражающий слой повернут к наблюдателю - первая единица информации, созданная первой рельефной структурой, по крайней мере, частично закрыта, и способов изготовления таких элементов защит�
