Abstract
The method for cryopreservation of the fragments of human pericardium comprises placing the prepared fragment of pericardium into the mixture of the nutrient medium for cell culture and dimethylsulfoxide as cryoprotector. The mixture is cooled until freezing. As nutrient medium, DMEM/F 12 medium with autologous serum is used. The ratio between dimethylsulfoxide, DMEM/F 12 medium and autologous serum by mass % is 20:55:25. The temperature is gradually lowered to -80 °C. The tissue is stored at the temperature of -196 °C.
