Винахід належить до водної композиції, у якої значення рН складає 6,0-9,0 і яка містить солі вугільної кислоти або ефіри вугільної кислоти, або і те, і інше у концентрації, що складає принаймні 0,01 % від загальної маси водної композиції, і флокулянти, коагулянти, мікрочастинки або їхні суміші як утримуючі речовини, а також способу виробництва згаданої композиції і використання вказаної композиції для виробництва паперу, для відділення води від твердого матеріалу при фільтрації, для обробляння води, для очищення стічних вод і для видалення надлишкового шламу.
