Abstract

A method for feeding carp using the milk thistle (Silybum marianum L.), which provides feeding a mixed feed with a certain additive of vegetable origin, and milk thistle fruits (Silybum marianum L.) are used as the additive. They are introduced by an industrially used extrusion method to the composition of the mixed feed in the amount of 1% of weight thereof, and then such a mixed feed is fed to the carp for 60 days during the growing season.
