Винахід належить до застосування поліпептиду регулювання висоти рослин, або полінуклеотиду, що кодує поліпептид регулювання висоти рослин, у покращенні агрономічних характеристик культури шляхом регулювання висоти, об'єму, кущіння, врожайності, розміру квіток або розміру насіння культур. Регулювання здійснюють шляхом введення зазначеного полінуклеотиду, що кодує поліпептид регулювання висоти рослини, у рослину, або шляхом введення у рослину вектора РНКi, який містить послідовність, що спрямовує полінуклеотид, що кодує поліпептид регулювання висоти рослини.
