Abstract

Спосіб розведення молюсків роду Ampullaria передбачає утримання молюсків в акваріумах із прозорими стінками, кришкою, живильним кормом і прісною водою, рівень якої на 5-10 см нижче верхнього краю акваріума, протягом часу, необхідного для розвитку ікри, що відкладається. На різних стадіях розведення використовують різні акваріуми, а саме: інкубатор, вирощувальний, відсадочний маточник. Ікру знімають зі стінок аквариума-маточника і переносять в акваріум-інкубатор, в якому молодь, що вилупилася з ікри, утримують протягом тижня, після чого переносять у вирощувальний акваріум. З вирощувального акваріума один раз на тиждень відбирають особини, розміри яких більш ніж удвічі перевищують середні розміри особин у популяції. Добір проводять доти, поки не буде вибраний весь приплід. Відібраних особин поміщають в відсадочні акваріуми, де поєднують по близьких розмірах. Один раз у десять днів сортують по розмірах і утримують до досягнення полової зрілості. Після цього пересаджують в аквариум-маточник.
