Abstract
The invention relates to the field of polymer organic chemistry, in particular, to the synthesis of polymer alkylene guanidines. It can be used as efficient disinfection agent in medicine and veterinary, in purification of wastewater, and also in the fields of economy, where biocide preparations are required. The essence of the process consists in that guanidine –carbonate is polycondensed with hexamethylenediamine (HMDA) at the temperature of 140 °C. A process for polycondensation is carried out in the presence of 3-6 % ammonium chloride during 4-6 hours at the molar ratio of guanidine-carbonate and HMDA, being equal to (0.9-1):1.
