Abstract

The method for treatment of patients with the partial atrophy of visual nerve is carried out by the electro-stimulation of eye by rectangular electric impulses with duration of a 10 ms, in 5 pulses in a packet, by series of a 30 pulse packets for a 30 seconds, 10-20 stimulant series for a 10-20 minutes. The electric stimulation is carried out simultaneously on both eyes, with the current strength, equal to the threefold value of individual threshold of electric sensitiveness for every eye with gradually increasing for a 10-15 daily course frequency of pulse packets from 5 Hz to 35 Hz.
