Abstract
"Reumocain" remedy for preventing and treating the pathology of the neuromuscular and locomotor systems contains the following substances in appropriate amounts: lidocain as the topical anesthetic; sodium diclofenac as the analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent, dimethylsulfoxide (dimexid) as the agent facilitating the permeation for the active ingredients into the tissues, and polyethyleneoxide-400 and polyethyleneoxide-1500 as the base for the ointment. The latter also facilitate the permeation for the active ingredients potentiating their analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. The topical anesthetizing, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory effects of Reumocain are almost 1.5-2 folds higher than those of Apizartron ointment.
