Abstract

A device for arc welding contains input diodes for connection to the power system, filters-capacitors, keys, an arc welding transformer, an output rectifier, terminals. The primary winding of arc welding transformer by one end through the key is connected with filter-capacitor and anode of input diode for connection of the cathode of this diode to the phase of the power system. By another end the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected through the key with another filter capacitor and anode of another input diode for connection of the cathode of this diode to another phase of the power system. The midpoint of the primary winding of arc welding transformer is connected to the common point of filters-capacitors in-series connected between them for connection of this point to the neutral conductor of the power system. The secondary winding of arc welding transformer is connected in parallel through the output rectifier to the terminals for combination with the arc space. Invention relates to arc welding, in particular, to DC sources of electrical arc.
