The proposed method for transmitting sound programs with television signals, according to which a video signal source with stereophonic sound is used, consists in providing additional sound of the television signal by using radio broadcasting facilities. The sound signal, arriving from a television information source at the input of a television signal transmission terminal, is transmitted over two channels. When transmitting sound signal over the first channel, the signal is transmitted via a modulator and a television signal transmitter. When transmitting sound signal over the second channel, the signal is transmitted via a radio broadcasting terminal, a stereo modulator for the phase-modulated signal range, and a transmitter of phase-modulated signals.
