A process for withdrawal of a part of hydrocarbons from the recirculation flow in the course of acetic acid synthesis by rectification of a part of lower layer of decanter of volatile components separation column, in addition the flow being withdrawnfor rectification is previously washed with water and/or washing waters of acetic acid production, and the aqueous solution being obtained is directed the cycle of synthesis. After the flow washing water and/or washing waters being withdrawn for rectification are used instead of water delivered to the cycle of synthesis for resplenishment. The extraction column is used for washing.
