Abstract

The technique for femoral-popliteal arterial by-passing comprises the generation of the proximal anastomosis of the alloprosthesis and the distal anastomosis with the autovenous insert. When the distal anastomosis is applied, the posterior wall of the prosthesis is dissected and the wedge-like autovenous insert is sewed with broadening the internal diameter of the anastomosis.
