Abstract
A process for preparation of thallium iodide of specific purity, which is realized in two stages: in the first one sodium tetraiodotalate is obtained; in the second stage after solution filtration sodium peroxide is dosed into it and thallium iodide is precipitated, and the final purification of thallium iodide from soluble admixtures is performed by treatment of thallium iodide precipitate with ion-exchange resins.
