Abstract
Уплотнение, в частности уплотнение, которое используется с кожухом ковша при разливе расплавленного металла из ковша, содержит разбухающий состав, содержащий расширяющийся графит, из которого удалена некоторая часть присутствующей в нем внутренней воды, но не вся вода. Внутреннюю воду можно удалить из указанного расширяющегося графита путем его нагревания до температур в пределах приблизительно от 230 °С до 280 °С на протяжении около 30 мин. После того, как часть внутренней воды будет из него удалена, расширяющийся графит используют для получения разбухающего состава, который потом формируют в виде требуемого уплотнения.
