Искусственный слоистый материал для резонансных дек музыкальных инструментов включает соединенные между собой мягкие и твердые слои. Мягкие и твердые слои расположены перпендикулярно к заданной базовой плоскости материала и перемежеваны между собой. Мягкие слои выполнены из пористых материалов. Твердые слои выполнены из сплава металлов или пластмассы или твердых пород деревьев.
