COJEIIBINATION HINGE AND BACK.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that 1, JOHN linoonn, a citiis to provide a device of the character statedor simple construction and operation.

A further object is to provide a device which can be quickly and easily applied to a door hinge of standard construction.

Further objects will appear from the detailed description.

The hinge is of usual construction being composed of two leaveshaving the intermeshing integral sleeves 1 and 2 pivotally connected by a hinge pin 2). ln applying the invention the pin 3 is extended, in the form illustrated in Fig. 2, and a .llbracket 1 provided with integral collars 5 is pivoted on the upper part of this pin. This bracket carries a towel rack (l secured therein. spacing sleeve 7 is mounted about the pin below the bottom collar 5 of the towel rack,

and rests on a collar 8 integral with a hook 9 and secured to the pin. The hook 9 is provided with an integral supplemental hook 10, the vertical arm 10 of which carries an integral lug 11 the inner face of which is provided with an arcuate recess which snugly about. the sleeve 2 or" the hinge leaf 12 and thus acts to ellectively brace the supplemental hook 10 and tne hook 9. In Fig. 1 of the drawings I have omitted the hook entirely and inserted a towel rack provided with a plurality of arms. @n the upper end of the hinge pin 1 mount a collar 7 carrying an arm 7 threaded through the upper end of a strap 9". By invention 1 have produced a rack which can be readily and easily applied to the hinge of a door and which is especially adapted for use in lavatories and other public places, although it is equally well adapted for use in private houses.
