What I claim. isr- 1.. In an under frame construction for cars, car body bolsters, intermediate beams, end sills, side sills connecting said end sills and connected to the ends of said car body bolsters and intermediate beams, a center girder extending through said bolsters andintermediate bolsters and beams and collapsible 1n poses, and floor members having ends set .1n recesses in saidear body holsters and intermediate beams withiloor planks attached to said floor members.

In an under frame construction for cars, car body bolsters, intermediate beams, and sills, side sills connecting said end sills and connected to the ends of said car body bolsters and intermediate beanls, each side sill being composed of a channel bar,\;a rail on the channel bar and a, tie member it the inner side of said channel bar extending up wardly through said rail and having bracket flanged brackets 93 said beams, for removal .pur

3. An under frame construction for cars including a center girder composed of 'channel bars, one of said channel bars being mounted between confronting walls of -the other channel bars, and collapsible spacing;
including a center girder, side sills, a truck beam detachably connected to said side sills and detachably connected to saidgirder, an end sill, and a draft appliance housing having its ends detachably connected to said girder and to said end sill, the manner or" connecting said draft appliance housing and said girder including tongue blocks carried by'said girder and a grooved head on said draft appliance housing fitting between said ton ue blocks.
6. An under frame construction for cars includin a girder, a truck beam fitted over said gir er, and a draftappliance housinghaving one end thereof fitted in said girder and connected to said truck beam.
7. An under frame construction for cars including beams, side sills attached to ends of said beams, lioor supporting rails forming part of said side' sills, and tie members receiving the ends of said sills and extending through said rails.
'8. A side sill for a car under frame comprising a channel bar, a floor supporting rail on said channel bar, and a tie member attached to said channel bar and extending through said rail.
9. in a car construction, beams having sockets, floor members having ends thereof in the sockets of said beams, and floor lanlrs connecting sets of floor members to arm a floor that may be removed in sections rela tive to said beams.
