IMPROVEMENT IN SHOE-TIPS.
- Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. 187,775, dated February 27, 1877; application filed January 15, 1877.

In a tip of my construction this difficulty is obviated, as the rubber base-plate serves constantly to secure and hold the tip in position until it is fully secured, by pegging or stitching, to the shoe.
Having thus described my invention, what '1 claim, and desire to secure by Letters Pat-
