My invention is a combined fixture for bathrooms, by which there may be provided at low cost a maximum of services within a minlmum floor space, and which in addition to its utilitarian functions will provide a structure of well balanced and ornamental appearance permitting separate production of a tub section, lavatory section and storage compartment section, and their assembly in a composite structure.

In accordance with my invention, there is provided a tub member having at one end thereof a foot extension having end and side walls projecting above the top of the walls of the body portion of the tub. A

lavatory member comprising a basin with end extensions or shelves is provided with anl apron concealing the joints at the ends thereof between the lavatory member and the upwardly projecting tub walls and between the lavatory member and a cabinet spaced from the tub. The lavatory extensions form top covers or closures'for the foot extension of the tub and for the compartment within the cabinet, whichis suitable for use'as a closet or drawer space. The lavatory member is substantially less in lwidth than the body portion of the tub, the front walls of the lattertaper inwardly at each end thereof toward the front line of the lavatory and the body of the tub forms a spacious and readily enclosed pan for a shower.

The characteristic features and advann tages of my improvements will further appear from the following description and the accompanying drawing of an illustrative embodiment of my invention.

As will be observed, the positioning of the `end section 8 over the foot extension 2 of the tub not only minimizes the space required for the fixture but gives a nished appearance to the tub and balances the proportions thereof, giving a substantially balanced effeet-to the anglar wall 4 and the uncovered section of the wall 5 and a symmetrical appearing hexagonal outline foi the body of the tub. The body of the tub forms a suit- .able pan for a shower', which may be conveniently enclosed by providing a glass or other partition 16 above the end extension 8. The recess formed by the foot extension and projecting walls and cover thereof receives and confines the splash from jets projected from the shower head 17, and if desired, glass leaves or a curtain (not shown) may be provided to enclose the space above the wall sections 3, 4 and 5.

It will be noted that the foot extension 2 of the tub, together with the upwardly projecting walls 5a and 6, forms a pedestal for one end 0f the lavatory, and vthat said projecting walls substantially close the sp ace between the foot extension and the lavatory and provide a splash guard therebetween. By having the pedestals for the opposite ends of the lavatory spaced apart, an open space may be provided beneath the basin, for thefeet or legs of a person'using the same, thereby adapting the device to be also used as a dressing table if desired. l

Having described my invention, I claim: 1. A bathroom fixture comprising a tub member having a body portion and a foot extension provided with upwardly projecting' walls, a pedestal spaced from said foot extension, and a lavatory member having end 5 shelves projecting over and supported upon said foot extension and said pedestal.

2. A bathroom fixture comprising a tub member having a foot extension with upwardly projecting side and end walls, a cabinet spaced from'said foot extension and containing a compartment, and a lavatory mem- 'ber having end shelves'projecting over and supported upon said foot extension and said ca inet.

3. A bathroom fixture comprising a bath tub body, a lavatory adjacent said body and having a basin and shelves at opposite ends of the basin, and pedestals beneath the shelves and spaced apart to provide an open space beneath the basin, one of said pedestals being ollow and containing afoot extension of said Ly A bath room fixture comprising'a bath tub body, a lavatory adjacent said body, and two pedestals for said lavatory spaced apart to provide an open space therebetween, one of said pedestals being integral with said body and forming a foot extension therefor.
