The flap is provided with a plurality of openings which aid in-l discharging the seat cover after use thereof. Y

By my invention I further provide a pad of such covers having means attached thereto for breaking the destructible connections between the flap and body of each sheet as the sheet is removed from the pad. I also provide in connection with the pad, means for raising the rear or loose end of the flaps of the covers above the general plane of the covers.

In the accompanying drawings, I have shown for purposes of illustration only, a preferred' embodiment of my invention. I have also shown a portion of the apparatus shown and described in my above referred to copending application in connection with which my improved covers may be used.

Each cover as shown in the drawings comprises a main body portion 2 having an opening 3 therein. The front part of the main body of the cover is rcut away and turned rearwardly under the cover and-the edges 4 glued or pasted together-so as to form-a pocket 5 on the bottom ofv the cover andextending transversely thereof. The pocket may be glued near the centerasfat 6 and Z 'in order to divide it into two pockets.

A flap 8 is integrally attached to the body of the sheet at the iront end thereof and extends rearwardly into the opening 3. rlhe flap Sisattached to the main body of the sheet by means of breakable or destructible connections 9 which serve to hold the flap in the plane of the body portion. The ap 8 has a plurality of openings 10 therein which aid in the disposition of the cover after use, in the manner hereinafter described.

The pads of covers which I provide for use in the structure shown in my copending application, Serial No. 512,059, led January 29, 1931, are made up of a plurality of covers of the character just` described. Each cover is perforated along the line 11. The covers are fastened together` by means of staples 12 which fasten together the portions of the covers to the rear of the perforated lines. This portion of eachof the covers has an opening 13 therein which corresponds with similar openings in the other covers, which openings are adapted to receive pins 14 of the dispensing apparatus and hold the pad of covers in the dispensing apparatus.

A string 19 is attached at the rear of the pad of covers and each end thereof is looped around the breakable connections 9 on each side of the flaps of the covers and. fastened. The string or thread 19 serves to sever the breakable connections 9 between the flap and the main body of a sheet as the sheet is removed from the pad of covers.

A sheet 20 of flexible material is fastened to the rear of the pad of covers and extends forwardly and is placed under the rear of the flaps in order to raise them above the general plane of the pad. This serves to prevent the flaps from tending to curl up as a cover is removed from the pad. The pad is further provided with a sheet of waxed paper 21 which surrounds a portion of the pad. This waxed paper serves to lubricate the lowermost cover of the pad as it is removed from the pad and prevent it from sticking and tearing in the compartment in which thecovers are retained.

Pads ofy covers ofthe above described character may be advantageously used in the apparatus such as that partially shown in Figures 1 and 2 and more particularlyY shown and described in my above referred to copending application. In such apparatus the seat 22 is normally retained in a cabinet 23. Means Vis also provided in the cabinet 23 for moving the seat Vfrom the cabinet to a usable position over the bowl 24 which is located adjacent the cabinet. This movement of the seat is effected by motors which are adapted to drive sprocket chains 25 which are connected to the seat by links 26. Link guides 27 are provided for preventing the chains from buckling as the seat is moved forward. As the seat is moved forward the door 28 of the cabinet is opened. The ejector plate 29 which is located immediately under the pad of covers, advances and as it does so, engages the pockets 5 of the lowermost cover in the pad and pulls it forward with it. As the cover is pulled forward the strings 19 sever the breakable connections 9 between the flap 8 and the main body of the cover. A nger plate 30 is also moved forward by the movement of the seat and is adapted to open the pocketsrof the cover pulled forward by the ejector plate. As the seat 22 advances to usable position over the bowli.t enters thepockets 5 of the cover and pulls the cover orward with it. Thebalance of the covers in the pad aid in smoothing the lowermost cover on the seat as it advances to usable position. Y

I claim:

A toilet seat cover comprising a maingsheet of flexible material having a centrally Vdisposed opening therein, a flap of like:material insalid opening integrally attached to the main sheet at placed thereon, and a pocket on the front end Y of the main sheet extending transversely along the bottom side thereof.
