Beit known that I, HENRY S. PARKER, a citi-A zen of the United States, and a resident of Spencer, in the county of Clay and State of Iowa, 5 have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Holders `for Guspidors 5 `and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, n and'exact description of the invention, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use 4the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification, and in `Which- Figure l is a perspective view of my improved cuspidorholder. Fig'. 2 is a sectional view of the same, showing the cuspidor in side elevation. Fig. 3 is across-section, on an enlarged scale, through line xm, Fig. 2; and Fig. 4 isa perspective view of the bottom plate.

My invention has relation` to `devices for holding cuspidors or spittoons; and it ,conf j sists in the detailed construction and combination of parts of the improved cuspidorholder, hereinafter more fully described and claimed. This holder consists of a base-plate, A,

" shaped in the form of a cross, Aand having a central threaded bolt-hole, B, and grooves or` outer ends of which are curved upwardly, as shown at G.

Inserted into a bracket, H, at the outer end of each of the arms F, is a caster, I, which is swveled upon a bolt or pintle,l J.

From the foregoing description, taken in connection with the d rawings, the use of my device will readily be understood. By loosen-v ing the bolt F the arms F may be adjusted so as to fit the sides of the cuspidor K, as 5o shown in Fig. 2 of the drawihgs, and after the cuspidor has been tted or clamped between the arms these are again fastened by tightening bolt F, which clamps plates A and D together..I so asto x arms Fin their adjusted position. Plates A and`D are of such a weight that the cuspidor cannot be easily upset in. moving it from place to place by means of its ,swiveled rollers or casters I.
