- the opposite faces 115 of the flanges 11 of each body part 10 constitute the end plates of a former on which an exciting coil 20 is wound about the core 21. Due to the smoothness of the faces 115, the exciting coil can be wound without diiiiculty, and needs no special insulation because of the insulating qualities of the material from which the two body members 10 are moulded.
