To all whom it may concern:

Be it knownthat I, J emos A. PEASE, of the city, connty,'and State of New York, have invented mew and Improved Clothes-Uriel; and" I do herebydeclare the following to be a 'fnll, and exact description of the same, referencebeng had to. the accompanying drawings The nature of my invention consists in combining and arranging a number of arms or rails in such a manner as to obtain a great length of dryng-surface in a small space, and

in-use.

To enable others skilled,in theart to make scribe its construction and operation., I 'constrnct my drier of any size and shape. The back B, Figures l and 2, is made of a flat piece of wood to which is attached swi nging piece A, by means of hnges c c. The-arms D are fastcned at one end in slots E in swinging piece A, by means of two pieces of metal,F F, forming a clamp and holding the said arm firmly in their places. When not in use the arms are folded against'the back B, and are en trely out of the way. When wanted for use, raise the arms to a horizontal position and fasten by means of book H andstaple I. It will be seen that a large amount of dryingsurface is obtained by this arrangement, and in a small space.
