  • An elongated member 20 horizontally extends through aligned slots 22 in the member and has a loop 24 at one end through which a pin 26 extends horizontally and also extends through a bore 28 in the member 12 whereby the member 20 is secured at one end to the member 12.
  • Member 20 can be pivoted between vertical rest position to a horizontal position for use. When the member 20 is horizontal, its free end has in its upper surface a recess 30 or cup in which a golf ball 32 can be removably disposed for use as indicated.
  • a golf tee apparatus comprising: a vertical inverted cone-shaped ground engaging base member, a cylinder having an axial bore with an enlarged top recess; a vertical screw extending axially through said recess and into said base member attaching said cylinder to said base member such that said cylinder is freely rotatable about the vertical axis of said base member; an elongated arm secured to said cylinder and rotatable therewith about said vertical axis; the adjacent end of said elongated arm having means for supporting a ball; said cylinder having a cross slot and a transverse bore therein, said elongated arm having a loop in said slot, and a pin passing through said bore and loosely through said loop in order to render said arm pivotally secured to said cylinder, said arm being pivotal between horizontal and vertical positions.
