TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, E. 0. BENNETT, of Mount Pleasant, in the county of Henry, and State of Iowa, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Ink-Stands; and I do hereby declare the following to be a. full, clear,

n and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and letters of reference marked thereon, making part of this specification.

The accompanying drawing is a. perspective view of the ink-stand.

A is an ordinary mouth or opening, for filling the stand andH taking out the ink. B is a tube, similar in size to A, but making no connection with the ink or inside of the stand, but Asiinlzilyfor the purpose of holding the cork or stopper while the'ink is being used. Y

Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is the following:

I claim the tube B, mede in the manner and used for'the purpose herein described. y
