Be it known that I, Taurus EDWARD VrcKnns, of Sheflield, in the county of York, England, have invented certain new rind useful Improvements in'Mochinery for Rolling Hoops or Tires for Wheelsor other purposes end I do hereby declare" that the following is as full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawingmmnkin g'pnrtof this application My invention consistslin so arranging smiling-mill that therports of the rolls between which the work is performed are wide to overhang -their bearingsynnd the remaining parts of the rolls, instead oi being pl'ec'ed eide by side, or one-above the other, osis usunl, ore extended in opposite directions, so that the hoop to be rolled or the work to he performed msy hepla oed and confined betweencollars or fi anches, of which only'jo ne is upon eaeh roll and which flinch, from its position, may pass, if required, up to, orbe'yond the centre of the other roll.
