IMPROVED comrooma FOR TREATING was HUMAN HAIR.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the name.
I, VILLIAM R. LOUNT, of Austin, Travis county, and State of Texas, have invented a new and useful Compound for Straightening, Softening, and Renewing the Human Hair; and I hereby declare the following to be a full and exact description of the same.
The nature of my invention consists in combining the following materials in about the proportions specified, the essential ingredient being the oil of wild cucumber, one-half pint, with one gallon linseed-oil, four pounds beeswax, four pounds spermaceti, and four pounds white rosin.
Those materials are to be combined by melting them together.
I do not confine myself to the proportions named.
