Abstract

Un dispositif indicateur, destiné à des tableaux, des panneaux ou autre dispositif à affichage d'information, comprend plusieurs points ou emplacements indicateurs, chacun des points ou emplacements étant obtenu par un élément indicateur (1) à actionnement individuel. Lesdits éléments indicateurs forment un corps flexible essentiellement en forme de courroie (2) ou un corps allongé similaire ayant une extension longitudinale et une extension transversale. Ledit dispositif indicateur comprend en outre au moins une surface latérale (3) s'étendant substantiellement dans les directions des extensions mentionnées ci-dessus et destinées à être visionnées, ladite surface latérale comprenant des zones indicatrices obtenues à l'aide des éléments indicateurs (1). Ledit dispositif a la particularité de permettre de préférence à chaque élément indicateur (1) de pivoter autour d'un axe de pivot (5) s'étendant dans la direction transversale mentionnée ci-dessus, de telle sorte que les éléments peuvent être déplacés ou basculés entre deux positions ou états différents l'un de l'autre. Chaque élément comprend deux composantes de surface (6, 7), disposées de telle sorte que l'élement (1) forme, quel que soit l'état dans lequel il est positionné, une partie donnée de ladite surface latérale (3), les éléments (1) étant disposés de façon à former une surface sensiblement continue (3), lorsque le corps en forme de courroie (3) se trouve dans une position sensiblement droite. Le corps en forme de courroie (2) est destiné à être incurvé et guidé autour d'au moins un cylindre de guidage (8) ayant un rayon si petit que les éléments (1), lorsqu'ils sont guidés autour du cylindre, sont séparés de façon à pouvoir être basculés ou déplacés entre les états mentionnés ci-dessus. Les dispositifs (9) sont placés adjacents au cylindre de guidage (8) en vue d'une manipulation prédéterminée des éléments (1).
