Abstract
Fil ou câble électrique résistant à l'eau possédant un conducteur comprenant du cuivre recouvert d'un métal ou d'un alliage de celui-ci dont l'oxydation forme un matériau isolant ne présentant pas de semi-conductivité. Le fil ou câble permet d'empêcher la formation d'oxyde cuivreux semi-conducteur formant un passage de courant dans une isolation composée d'une résine de polyoléfine, ce qui permet de prolonger de manière remarquable la durée d'utilisation dans l'eau du fil ou câble sous tension.
