Abstract

On décrit un procédé et un appareil de compression/expansion de signaux mettant en ÷uvre une technique de compression/expansion à décalage log, afin de produire à la fois une largeur de bande élevée sur la plage dynamique du signal traité, et une stabilité de température. De plus, l'incorporation de la technique de compression/expansion à décalage log permet de produire une famille de courbes de transfert. La capacité de produire une famille de courbes de transfert est particulièrement utile, par exemple, dans des projecteurs de télécinéma adaptés pour analyser plus d'un type de films.
